Debbie Featherstone has been Head of Hearing Therapy Services in East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust 2001-2010, with responsibility for specialist rehabilitative service provision for tinnitus, hyperacusis, and hearing loss. She leaves the NHS at the end of May 2010 after 17 years as a Hearing Therapist specialising in helping people with distressing tinnitus and related problems
She is qualified and registered as a Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Hearing Therapy practitioner, and specialises in the delivery of programmes of therapy for clients with tinnitus, anxiety disorders including OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder), GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) and depression. Debbie's work also includes undertaking therapy for medical-legal clients arranged through their solicitors.
